The Septic Designer will need a
SURVEY of the property, house, or building PLAN and any engineered drawings you have in DWG (AutoCad) format. The square footage of the structure and the number of bedrooms drives the size (GPD) of a residential septic system. Other criteria are used for commercial designs.
The Site Evaluation is first performed. This consists of a soil evaluation, topography evaluation, and location of property lines, wells, easements, and required setbacks. During the site evaluation we use GPS technology to mark the key elements of your property required in the design. The soil, your property, structure(s) on the property, water service or wells on your property and nearby, Texas (TCEQ) OSSF rules and more stringent rules adopted by the local regulating authority determine how we proceed with an OSSF plan to suit your needs.
